I don’t rule to be ruler, but because my shoulders are strong
enough to heave the burdens of those who are lagging behind.
I don’t roar to
mark my territory with my challenging echoed sound, but because I never hear
back, which proves there’s no one to fence it for intruders.
I don’t kneel down
to capitulate my weakness, but to let my palm reach to rise up those who can’t,
when I stand.
Ultimately, this is not what I am to be a complete man, but this
is how I see the world around me to make it complete.
